Amy Brandwein is the Chef and Owner of Centrolina and Piccolina da Centrolina in Washington, DC, where she showcases the seasonal delicacy and elegance of Italian cuisine. A seven-time James Beard Award nominee, including a 2025 Semifinalist for Outstanding Chef, she believes food should taste as good as it does in Italy and be shaped by the Mid-Atlantic’s seasons. Brandwein is also a member of Les Dames d’Escoffier, the James Beard Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Program, Regarding Her, and mentors for The LEE Initiative
