Your sightseeing adventure begins with a scenic drive through St. George's, the capital of Grenada, as you make your way to Fort Frederick. This 18th-century fortress, perched atop Richmond Hill, offers stunning panoramic views of St. George's harbor. Built originally by the French in 1779 and completed by the British in 1791, during the French Revolution, Fort Frederick is a striking stone quadrangle with bastions at each corner. Next, visit Annandale Waterfall, where a short yet steep walk leads you into a lush green paradise. The waterfall, framed by hanging ferns and a variety of local flowering and medicinal plants, is a true natural gem. Your final stop is Grand Etang National Park, where you’ll enjoy a complimentary beverage while taking in the breathtaking views of the lake nestled in the crater of an extinct volcano. The park's stunning scenery offers an opportunity to witness the rich biodiversity of the rainforest, and with a bit of luck, you might even spot the Mona Monkey, which has made this area its home.
Please note that the Fort Frederick visit is not suitable for guests with limited mobility, as it is not wheelchair accessible. The tour sequence may vary, and one complimentary drink per person is included. It is recommended that guests bring a bottle of water from the ship.
