After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll kick off your day with a visit to the world-famous Santiago Bernabéu stadium—host to Real Madrid CF since 1947. Fans of the football (aka American soccer) will go wild over the panoramic view of the inside of the renovated stadium, with admission to the Real Madrid CF Museum, where you’ll learn about the history of the club and its members, take pictures next to famous trophies and watch the club’s most iconic moments. Next, you’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. The tour continues to the Royal Palace, an awe-inspiring architectural wonder and the largest functioning palace in Europe. You’ll learn about the site’s rich history, capture pictures at Armoury Square, get a chance to walk the iconic marble Grand Staircase, and explore majestic rooms and spaces displaying sculptures, paintings, tapestries and jewels offering insight into the 18-century Spanish Monarchy. In the evening, you’ll head to renowned tablao Corral de la Morería (Madrid’s “Cathedral of Flamenco) to see a fiery flamenco show performed by some of Spain’s top dancers and musicians, while enjoying a three-course gourmet meal created by a Michelin Star chef.

After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll head right to the Prado Museum to take in the world’s richest and most comprehensive collection of Spanish works from Spanish masters Valázquez, El Greco, Goya and El Bosco. Your early access allows you to skip the line and enter the museum one hour before they open. The museum also houses a vast collection of classical European paintings and sculptures, including the largest collections of Italian art outside of Italy. Next, you’ll head to the famous “El Retiro Park,” a UNESCO World Heritage Site offering a vast green oasis in the heart of the city. Stroll through a variety of gardens with interesting monuments, view a nearly 400-year-old Mexican conifer, sit by the lake or rent a rowing boat, and explore the exhibitions halls, including the Glass Palace, a glass pavilion built in 1887, regarded as one of Spain’s finest examples of cast-iron architecture. After enjoying the park, you’ll have free time to explore and find lunch on your own. In the evening, you’ll be immersed in a unique culinary experience at a boutique cooking school. You’ll learn the art of preparing tapas, then enjoy them along with a chef-prepared entree and two desserts for a 5-course tasting menu served with a bottomless wine pairing of five different Spanish wines.

You’ll have breakfast at your hotel in Madrid before taking off for an incredible day in Segovia, a medieval city located in Castile and Leó, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll look back in time as you admire the incredible Roman Aqueduct winding its way around the edge of town. You’ll visit Plaza Mayor, a town square framed by the beautiful pinnacles of the apse of the Cathedral, built in Castilian Late Gothic style, then head inside to meet your guide and tour the Cathedral, learning about its historical significance and architectural highlights that have earned it the name Lady of the Cathedrals. Next, you’ll enjoy a classic Segovian lunch at a delightful restaurant, followed by a stop at the renowned Alcázar of Segovia, a medieval castle built in the 12^th century that has served as home for 22 kings and inspired the design of castles in shows and movies, including Cinderella’s castle. You’ll travel back to Madrid, where you’ll catch the high-speed train to Barcelona, traveling in Comfort Class, with your luggage waiting for you at your hotel Barcelona hotel. This also makes it great region to visit. This tour will bring you to one of the most renowned Spanish wine cellars: Codorniu. You’ll learn the traditional process of how a bottle of cava is created and the history of the cellars dating back 450 years, where you will enjoy your tasting flight. By the time you head to a delicious three-course lunch, you’ll have discovered the secrets of Cavas Codorniu. Later, you’ll travel to Barcelona and take a panoramic tour of the city before embarking on the ship.

Setting out from the port by coach, you will find it easy to relax and enjoy this driving tour of Spain’s most fascinating city, Barcelona, a lovely Mediterranean stronghold of architectural interest. You will drive along one of Barcelona’s most famous streets, the Passeig de Gracia, lined with different Modernist buildings, many of which were designed by architect Antoni Gaudí. Watch for Casa Batlló, an iconic Barcelona landmark and Casa Mila. You will drive by one of Gaudí’s masterpieces – the Sagrada Familia (Holy Family) Church (outside visit). This is a site not to be missed. Though construction was started in 1882 it is still unfinished. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the most-visited building in Barcelona, and immediately identifies the city around the world. From here you’ll head up to the viewpoint in Montjuic with the most exceptional views of Barcelona and its impressive harbor.

Your tour departs from the port for the 1-hour drive to reach Montserrat, a peculiar rocky mountain range which is the site of the monastery where people come to worship “La Moreneta,” the black Madonna who is the patron-virgin of Catalonia. The Benedictine Monastery of Montserrat was founded in the 11th century and is located in a natural park 37 miles west of Barcelona. Besides visiting the Benedictine Abbey Monastery, you will admire also the Patron of Catalonia, Saint Mary of Montserrat that is worshiped at the shrine in the Monastery. The Benedictine community, now numbering some 80 monks, has served the shrine for almost 1,000 years. They are dedicated to a life of prayer, to working and to welcoming pilgrims, making the site a place for dialogue, prayer and culture. In addition to the monks, the escolans also live in Montserrat. They form the oldest boys choir in Europe ( and might be available during the visit). You will be given a tour of the monastery, and have some free time before taking the coach to the airport.

Your tour will depart for the 75-minute drive to the town of Porto Cristo, one of the oldest anchorages of the island. This fishing village is located at the end of a sheltered bay which developed in the Middle Ages to cater for Manacor. On the outskirts of the town is where you will find the famous Caves del Drach are located. The Caves of Drach are the most popular caves with tourists. There are three main caves, Cueva Negra (Black Cave), Cueva Blanca (White Cave) and Cueva Luis Salvator, at the end of which is a place called La Ventana (the window). Through La Ventana there is a huge lake, now known as Lago Martel (Lake Martel), behind which is the latest discovery of the caves, now known as Cueva de los Franceses (Cave of the French). Enjoy a row boat ride across Lake Martel, one of the world’s largest underground lakes accompanied by live classical music. The beauty of the caves can be appreciated thanks to its exceptional lighting. You will stop in Porto Cristo, with a short amount of time to browse at the pearl factory.

Palma is the capital of the Balearic Islands and lies on the southeastern coast of Mallorca Island. A wealth of architectural highlights awaits you. Board your coach and travel to your first stop at the circle-shaped 14th century Bellver Castle, one of the world’s very few rounded castles and the only one of its type in Europe. Built in military-influenced Gothic style, it lies atop a hill affording expansive panoramic views over the city and surrounding countryside. You will travel on to the handsome 13th century La Seu Cathedral, which presides over the city and is one of Europe’s finest examples of pure ecclesiastic Gothic architecture. After exploring the Cathedral’s interior you will view the exterior of the adjacent Almudaina Palace. This austere palace was originally an Arab fortress and later the palace of Majorcan kings. Before returning to the yacht you will stop to see the unique style and architectural engineering of the city’s famous bullring.

Please note: Comfortable shoes with rubber soles are recommended. There are approximately 100 steps from the coach parking area to the La Seu Cathedral. Spanish law requires that motor coach guest’s wear their seat belts at all times while in vehicles that are so equipped. On Sundays and holidays the Cathedral is not open to visitors. The history of the Cathedral will be given outside. When visiting the Cathedral, knees and shoulders must be covered. Bellver Castle is closed on Mondays and the visit will be from the outside only with extra time for shopping.

A short motor coach drive past olive trees and local vegetation brings you to the quaint 14th century village of Valldemossa, located at the foot of the Northern Mountain Range. Its former royal residence, La Cartuja, is the first stop on your tour. The residence became a Carthusian monastery in the Middle Ages and your guide will show you the chapel, a pharmacy, and the monks’ library. Valldemossa’s shining moment was in 1838, when George Sand and Frederic Chopin came to live at the monastery. Their stay here is well documented and a collection of their furniture remains. Embark on a scenic 1-hour and 45-minute drive to Cordoba to one of the most famous and impressive sites in Spain, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ten centuries ago, Cordoba was one of the greatest cities in the world, with a population approaching one million. The Capital of Muslim Spain and the center of the Caliph’s power, Cordoba was Europe’s largest city as well as a cultural and intellectual sear. Cordoba’s hour of greatest glory was when it became the capital of the Moorish kingdom of ‘El-Andalus’. You will visit the Great Mosque, or ‘Mezquita’, which – after several centuries of additions and enlargements became one of the largest in all of Islam. Take a magical walk through the forest of columns, passing beneath its arches and breathing in the history of Arab Cordoba, so brusquely and surprisingly interrupted by the Christian Cathedral set in the center of its vast interior. Continue to the Jewish Quarter and stroll through the quaint, ancient, winding, cobblestone and flower-filled streets. Just a few yards away from the small square Tiberiades – where the monument to the philosopher Maimonides stands – lies one of three surviving pre-inquisition synagogues in Spain. A Mudejar construction dating from 1315, the interior includes a gallery for women looking on to the sanctuary through small balconies, and plasterwork of Hebrew inscriptions. You will have 90 minutes of free time to take the oportunity to taste the local tapas in one of the bars in the area or sightsee before another scenic ride returning to the yacht.

Discover the essence of the Andalusian region visiting one of the most charming and well-known villages of the famous Costa del Sol, Mijas. After a 45-minute panoramic drive, the coach will bring you to the bottom of this white village, where the narrow streets will take you to the upper point of the village. You will have a 1-hour, 45-minute guided walking tour of Mijas where you will want to take pictures of the sites, including the Bullfight ring. Also the panorama of the valley will delight all your photographers. Once you have visited the village, you will have your gastronomic experience in a local Restaurant, Secret Garden, where you will be able to taste two kinds of wine, accompanied by delicious Spanish Jamón and cheese tapas. Some things are just plain fun and riding a Segway around Spain definitely falls into that category. It takes a few minutes to get the hang of it; then you'll never want to get off! You'll begin your ride (after an introduction to the operation of the Segway) at Plaza de la Marina, in the center of Málaga. Continue to Larios Street, the main shopping avenue of the city, then on to Merced Square, at the end of Calle Alcazabilla, to see the obelisk erected as a tribute to General Torrijos, currently the headquarters of the Picasso Foundation. Next you will ride to the Santiago Church, built on the site of a former mosque and Málaga's oldest church (founded in 1490). You’ll also visit the Roman Theatre, discovered in 1951, which was built in the time of Caesar Augustus and used until the 3rd century A.D. After that time, it was used as a quarry by the Moors to restore the Alcazaba, which is the next stop on your tour. This impressive building, constructed mainly in the 11th century, was the palace/fortress of the ruling Muslims. Continuing on your tour, you’ll see the Catedral de la Encarnacion, Bishop Square, and the Paseo del Parque, before returning to Marina Square.

From the quayside travel north to the border between this small colony and Spain. View this remarkable border and the Spanish mainland beyond. Proceed along the outskirts of town, passing the American War Memorial and The Trafalgar Cemetery to arrive at Europa Point. From this vantage point you can admire views of the coast of North Africa, 12 miles across the famous Straits of Gibraltar. You will appreciate why this territory was and continues to be of such strategic importance to the British Navy. Your tour will then take you on to Rooke’s Battery, a now derelict artillery battery on the west side of the Rock of Gibraltar. The Battery has a plaque labelled ‘1906’ and is named after Sir George Rooke who commanded the British Fleet when Gibraltar came under British Rule. Move on to the nearby Windsor Suspension Bridge. One of Gibraltar’s newest tourist attractions, it is not for the faint hearted. This spectacular feat of engineering is 233 feet (71 meters) in length, across a 164-foot (50-meter)-deep gorge, affording magnificent views across the bay and city of Gibraltar. The Rock’s Apes spring to mind at the mention of the Rock of Gibraltar and here is where your next stop will take you. You will take a short walk down to King Charles V Wall, better known as ‘Ape’s Den’ which seems to be a usual habitat of the apes, which are indeed a breed of tailless monkeys (Macaca Sylvanus), that roam free on the rocky slopes. They are endearing creatures with a penchant for handbags to say nothing of cameras and hats. Reboard your bus, which will take you on a short drive to Princess Caroline’s Battery, a former artillery battery located at the northern end of the Gibraltar Nature Reserve. It was constructed in 1732 and named after the third daughter of King George II. You will be transferred to the City Hall, to visit the Mayor’s Parlour and enjoy some cold canapes and beverages. You will then be given some time to roam the building in its entirety including the National Art Gallery. Have your cameras ready as you are allowed to take photos of all the works of art which are on display. Who knows, if you are lucky, you might even run into His Worship the Mayor of Gibraltar and get a chance to have a chat with him and even take a photo with him. You will once again board your motorcoach and be transferred back to the yacht.

Your cable car will take you to the Top Station perched on the summit of “The Rock,” for a breathtaking view as you are suspended in mid-air. Cádiz is the Iberian Peninsula’s oldest continuously inhabited city and lies on a narrow spit of land, surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea. Your guided stroll begins at Plaza de España, near the port. In common with most other Cádiz squares, the nearby Plaza de la Mina was formerly a large vegetable garden belonging to the San Francisco Convent. The tour to Seville will help you discover one of the most beautiful cities in Spain on your own. Seville has the third largest cathedral of Christianhood, the Reales Alcazares de Sevilla. Seville's cathedral occupies the site of a great mosque in the late 12th century. Later, Christian architects added the extra dimension of height. Its central nave rises to an awesome 138 feet (42 meters) and even the side chapels seem tall enough to contain an ordinary church. The total area covers 124,000 square feet (11,520 square meters) and it is the largest church in the world. See the the Capilla Mayor, dominated by a vast Gothic retablo comprised of 45 carved scenes from the life of Christ. Also, take a walking visit around the Santa Cruz Quarter, the old Jewish area of the city. This is the first barrio (area or neighborhood) tourists head for, and with good reason. It is the most picturesque and delightful part of the city, with narrow winding cobbled streets and whitewashed houses, where you can sit outside a bar, enjoy some tapas and watch the world go by, or wander through centuries-old gardens and relax on beautiful tiled benches. The area is bordered by Calles Mateas Gago, Santa Maria La Blanca/San José, the Jardines de Murillo and the Alcázar. The covered passageway heading off the Patio de Banderas (part of the Alcázar) called the Judería is worth visiting; enter the Patio from here and you'll get an unforgettable view of the cathedral. Return to your dropoff spot to go back to the yacht.

Travel by motor coach 1¾ hours north to Seville, which features many architectural highlights, including the cathedral, and Casa de Pilatos. After a 1-hour visit to the cathedral, you will stroll through the old Jewish area, known as the Santa Cruz Quarter. Artisans’ shops and quaint cafés occupy whitewashed houses crowded along meandering alleys and charming squares. Following lunch on your own, you will take in a panoramic overview of Seville seeing such landmark monuments as the Torre del Oro and La Giralda Tower before taking a refreshing stop at the Plaza de España. Pause to admire this impressive square, which is crossed by a canal, before rejoining your motor coach for the 1¾-hour return drive to the ship.

You will start with a panoramic drive of the city of Cádiz where the guide will point out the most important monuments and attractions of the city. You will then proceed to the beautiful village of Vejer de la Frontera. Vejer is one of the most picturesque spots in the south of Spain. It was declared Historic and Artistic Collection in 1976. Its walled enclosure features four gates (The arches of La Segur, Sancho IV, La Villa and Puerta Cerrada) and two towers ( Mayorazgo and La Corredera or Castrillone). Outside the primitive walled enclosure lies the Plaza de España, built in the 16^th century, which, initially, held the bullfighting events organized by the nobles and knights of Vejer. For religious architecture, have a look at the Church of the Divine Saviour, constructed on the remains of a previous mosque, whose minaret is yet preserved. The styles go from the Mudejar and Gothic of the headboard, to Renaissance and Barroque. Some free time will be given to check the souvenirs shops or sit in any bar or cafe. Boarding the bus again, you will take the scenic “Atlantic Route," with its stunning countryside, passing by the Natural Park La Breña, a protected pine tree forest with cliffs of up to 328 feet (100 meters). From the bus you will see Trafalgar Cape with its lighthouse, that marks the place where the Trafalgar Battle took place in 1805, when the France-Spaniard troops fought against the English. Enjoy a drink and a snack at Venta Pinto.
